Cloudbridge recently assisted the Yeronga Meals on Wheels (YMOW) to migrate from three disparate and old desktops running unsupported operating systems to Microsoft Windows 10 and Office 365. Cloudbridge also helped the Yeronga MOW in obtaining Not for Profit licensing for Microsoft Office 365 meaning they could migrate to a corporate IT solution at minimal ongoing cost. The aim of this project was to simplify the IT environment at Yeronga MOW making it easier for staff to use.
Cloudbridge implemented Microsoft Office 365 with documents migrated to SharePoint and Exchange set up to deliver corporate email, calendaring and contacts. Cloudbridge also assisted Yeronga MOW to streamline their Internet connection via the NBN, ensuring the effectiveness of their external connection. Importantly Cloudbridge ensured additional software that was vital to YMOW’s operations was successfully integrated to the new solution, including accounting and labelling software.
YMOW now has a corporate IT solution rather than having files stored on unconnected unsupported PC’s and using separate email accounts. This has been a big step forward for a small organisation and means they will not need to invest in IT for several years.
Feedback from the staff at YMOW is “Andrew was down to earth, friendly and very thorough. He worked quietly in the background fine tuning the system and was able to explain things in layman’s terms”. Over all the staff at Yeronga MOW are “extremely happy with his work”.
Thank You.
