In a recent ACECQA post it was noted that the approved childcare provider “must review and revise the Quality Improvement Plan for the service at least annually, having regard to the National Quality Standard, and submit the most current copy of the Quality Improvement Plan to the regulatory authority on request”.
Further the provider “must keep a current plan on the premises and make it available to families and regulators when requested”.
So where does a busy centre manager store all the versions of the Quality Improvement Plan? How do you ensure it is updated regularly? And how do you make it easily available to staff and families?
Cloudbridge’s Childcare Document Storage Framework provides a solution. Our Microsoft Office 365 based framework includes a section for storing all documents associated with the National Quality Standard (NQS) including your centres Quality Improvement Plan.
In addition, by storing documents including policies and procedures in Cloudbridge’s Childcare Document Storage Framework centre managers can demonstrate in an audit that they are meeting Element 7.3.5 of the NQS that “service practices are based on effectively documented policies and procedures that are available at the service and reviewed regularly”.
