It goes without saying – the more centres the more complex the administration. Childcare centres have hundreds of live documents, many which legally need to easily accessed by staff and sometimes parents.
Furthermore, jointly developing policies and procedures is onerous, time intensive and quite stressful for managers. Storage is also an issue as they need to be kept somewhere easily accessible by all staff and that version has to be up to date.
To overcome this problem we developed information architecture – a set of terms to store, search and locate the correct document. Like an online resource library.
Using Microsofts very flexible IT solution we assisted the team by implementing a platform in which they can collaborate to develop documents, store them including version control, communicate them with staff and find them efficiently using search engines.
This saves time, increases productivity and lowers costs.
